Bobby is active in the charity group Musicians on Call - By bringing live, in-room performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their beds, we add a dose of joy to life in a healthcare facility. MOC helps bring music to hospital patients, families and caregivers. There are 35 million hospital beds in the United States, each occupied by a loved one or friend. We seek to change the cold, sterile environment in hospital rooms because we believe that all patients, families and caregivers should have access to and benefit from the healing power of live music. It has been demonstrated that music has a direct effect on people and can: Improve Blood Pressure, Manage Stress, Alleviate Pain and Improve Pain Tolerance, Access and Express Feelings, Enhance Memory and Access Positive Memories, Improve Mindset/Emotional Outlook and Promote Physical Rehabilitation.
